Hydraulic Chute Rotation Kit for John Deere 47" or 54" Snowblower

This kit is AWESOME! I ordered this kit for a 47” snowblower on a X720 with a Cozy Cab. I was going to do the cheaper route of modifying the cable and pulleys to get more rotation when I came across this kit. Although doing the pulley mod would definitely have cost less, I've failed enough lessons at the school of 'pay once cry once'. I’m not saying I’ve graduate from it yet, but I’m getting there. I ordered the kit and would say shipping was reasonably quick. This kit is definitely not made in some back-alley chop shop in Taiwan, this kit is extremely well made by someone that has the proper tools, equipment, materials, and know how. Everything also comes well packaged and well laid out. I watched the installation video, and I'm glad I did. If the holes in the chute are just a little bit off...and I mean like a 1/16" of an inch, rotate it to another set of holes until you find the ones that line up perfect (he mentions that in the video but with how close it was I thought I was going to have to make the holes just a little bigger). As another reviewer mentioned, I also had to get different fittings to hook my hydraulics up. It is my understanding that the kits in the future will have the flat face o-ring adapter. I need to modify the stop because the way it is now, it will rotate far enough so the snow can hit the cab. If you don’t put the stop on, this kit would allow you rotate the chute 360 degrees. The kit was very easy to install. Deere’s needs to trash their cheesy cable and pulley system and use these kits for factory installation. I suggest that you that if you are reading these reviews, stop reading, and just order it! You will NOT be disappointed!

This product increases the rotation capacity of the blower chute to nearly 340 degrees from the stock 200 degrees allowing the operator to more precisely clear snow as they approach obstacles. Kyle has produced a fantastic product which works as designed. The only reason that I couldn't give it a 5-star review is that I had to do some minor modification to the base ring so that it would fit on my 2016 47" blower and purchase some different hydraulic fittings to mate my hoses to the motor provided in the kit. Kyle was very responsive to my questions and helped walk me through a couple of the early steps as the instructions left me with some questions. With that said, I highly recommend this product for anyone who sits behind a blower and wishes they could remove snow with more precise control. Having this on my blower has sped up the process of clearing snow for me too.

Very impressed with this kit, it will rotate up to 320 degrees and you don't have to deal with rusting out cables. The product is very easy to install. The company themselves are easy to deal with and friendly.
