Deck Dolly for John Deere 1023E or 1025R series tractors. Fits 54D and 60D decks and may fit others that have the same dimensions for factory hook ups.
As the draft arms stay in place on these decks I highly recommend the longer legs due to the draft arms encroaching the lifting position.
Quit struggling with that mower deck and get the Deck Dolly to make transportation, maintenance and storage a snap.
Easy hookups along with its light weight make this a must have accessory for your shop.
Please consider adding the longer legs as they aid in clearing the front draft arms when lifting.
Please note that these decks have a breather on the gearbox and it is possible that the breather could seep grease due to the way the deck hangs on the Deck Dolly.

Once you figure out how to put it together, you see how well made it is. I found it hard to move around as my JD 54" is quite heavy. Not an engineer but believe it would be easier to handle with much larger wheels/tires similar to what you find on heavy duty dollies at Tractor Supply.

Went together easy and works great. Couldn't imagine moving the deck around without it...they are quite heavy.

Deck Dolly for 54" Deck
Easy to assemble, works great. Dual wheels and long handles gave excellent stability so it was very easy to move across the lawn to the garden shed for winter storage.

1025 Deck Dolly
Shipping was very prompt and after receiving my deck dolly I was eager get started putting it together. It came well packed having all the nuts and bolts individually bagged. The instructions were clear and concise. The deck dolly went together easily and was well constructed. It mounted well to my 54 inch deck but the deck is very heavy and is difficult to lift in the upright position. Once the dolly is lifted it provides a very stable mount for the deck. I am very pleased and definitely recommend this product.

Overall the concept and quality are very good. One thing I think should change. The brackets behind the wheels engage the floor/ground to soon with the 6 foot handles. I find I am still bearing the brunt of the weight on the handles at approximately 50° up from flat surface when the brackets hit. Ergonomically this puts more stress on my back and arms then it would if the brackets didn't engage until the 75-80° angle where the deck weight woul be more balanced.

I wish I would have had this when I bought my tractor six years ago. I knew there had to be a better way to clean the bottom of my mower deck. This is it! The only issue I have is that it is hard for me to lift it up on my own.

Purchased a deck dolly as soon as I got my JD 1025r with 60” deck. I went with the duel wheels and long legs. Easy to put together. Took me about 50 mins. This thing is so great and very sturdy for a great price. Highly recommend.
