Deck Dolly for Model Year 2019 and Previous 1023E or 1025R tractors with 54D & 60D mower deck

Pretty heavy! Not the deck dolly, but the mower deck once it is on the dolly. Longer handles would give me more leverage. Plus, lots of weight resting on those two bolts.....beef them up a bit??

Great dolly, makes storage of the deck easy. The pictures for assembly was nice, however the nuts and bolts could be labeled on the bag, or something. A little bit of trial and error to get it all together. Overall, extremely pleased with the product!

A little struggle to lift but it sure beats the alternative.

The handles need to be longer. I'm 67 yrs old and the weight is too heavy to get above my waist. I have set up a pulley to make it work but longer handles for more leverage would be nice. Deckdolly says customer ordered the standard legs. Optional longer legs are available as an option when ordering.

When I bought by 1025r in June 2020, I anticipated being able to utilize the John Deere Load-N-Go attachment to remove and maintain my 54 inch mower deck as indicated by my salesman. I was shocked to find out that attachment was not compatible with my 2019 model year 1025r which left me without a convenient means of lifting the mower deck to service. Thankfully, I found Kyle Peters' Deck Dolly website and after some research and a few emails with Mr. Peters, I decided to purchase the dolly. I was able to assemble the dolly fairly quickly and put it to immediate use by cleaning and greasing the deck, removing and sharpening the blades, and checking all the belts for wear and tear. Sure, I could have done all this by dropping the deck and lifting it up on blocks or a ramp, but the Deck Dolly makes lifting and accessing the deck so much easier. Makes me wish I had thought of this! My only "complaint: if you will was that when I received my shipment, the rim of one of the tires was bent causing a flat area on the tire. However, this is obviously a problem with UPS in shipment and in no way the fault of Mr. Peters. In fact when I reached out to notify him of the issue and indicate I was willing to pay for the replacement, Mr. Peters indicated that I didn't need to pay a thing. A few days later I received a new rim and tire in the mail and it's working perfectly. I would highly recommend the Deck Dolly to anyone who wants to make maintaining their mower deck a whole lot easier. Thanks Mr. Peters for the great product and customer service. Much appreciated.

directions are a little hard to follow, but if you are mechanically minded you can figure out.
