Deck Dolly for John Deere x7xx, x5xx and x4xx series tractors. This model is for the older style mount and NOT FOR DRIVE OVER DECKS. These decks are shaft driven and the front draft bracket will accept a 1/2" rod to fit to the DeckDolly. Fits all size decks with a bolt in the rear deck mount that accepts the lift arm and may fit others that have the same dimensions for factory hook ups. Will fit X465,X475,X485,X495,X575,X585,X595,X700,X720,X724,

X728,X740,X744,X748 Tractors and others. Link takes you to John Deere parts site. If you have a driveover/autoconnect deck this will not work without modification. You would require this Deck Dolly.

Quit struggling with that mower deck and get the Deck Dolly to make transportation, maintenance and storage a snap. Easy hookups along with light weight make this a must have accessory for your shop.

Please note that these decks have a breather on the gearbox and it is possible that the breather could seep grease due to the way the deck hangs on the Deck Dolly. To remedy, simply replace the breather with an 1/8" pipe plug from your local hardware store if this occurs.

Assembly instructions fell short of being helpful. Main arms had several positioning holes drilled and instructions did nothing to say which ones to use. Very much trial and error. I think I'll manufacture my own for the other two JD decks I own.

designed to fit my deck perfectly, makes moving it and storing it on its side possible for me alone. good quality parts, assembly pretty straightforward. highly recommend this for anyone with a mowing deck

Recently purchase a JD x724 with a 62" deck. after removing the deck for the first time I was shocked at the size and weight of the deck. I decided to try a Deck Dolly. This is by far the best way to move around those decks. it is easy to assemble and a breeze to operate. Once deck is secured on the dolly and stored out of the way it takes up minimal floor space in my garage and is and safely stored. Very pleased.
