Deck Dolly for John Deere x700 Series Tractors with Drive Over Deck With or Without AutoConnect Feature

This is a really great idea to make moving, cleaning and storing the mower deck a lot easier. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I'll withhold a star until I see if it works as well as it is supposed to. I have assembled it and while it wasn't overly difficult, the instructions were not the best. I'll update this review in the fall when I remove the deck for the season and get a chance to put it to use.

I ordered this for my X739 54" deck. That deck is way too heavy and awkward to wrestle with on your own. The deck Dolly makes it a breeze. Very well packaged. Shipped very quickly. Very high quality components. No it's not cheap, nor is it a cheaply built tool, so you get what you pay for. The time for buying cheap Chinese manufactured products is over my friends! Buy once, cry once! Very satisfied with my Deck Dolly!!

I bought a deck dolly for my JD X738 last year when I bought the tractor new. It has made working with this tractor a DREAM. The assembly did take awhile but setting the dolly in the deck before finishing the work or tightening the hardware made it much easier. I just stored my 54” deck all winter in a fraction of the space. Also, the customer service I received was outstanding. I can not recommend this more highly. If you have a JD deck that Deck Dolly makes a product for, do yourself a favor and buy a deck dolly. You will be grateful you did.

This is a well made sturdy device. The metal work and machine work are very good. Saves me precious space in a barn that is already crowded. I got it with the longer handlebars and double wheels, which are well worth it. Assembly was not difficult, but looking at others' videos on YouTube was essential to make sure of things that were not entirely clear in the instruction sheets (such as top cross-member placement, where to use/not use lock nuts and washer-head nuts).

After 3yrs of dragging my deck around by hand I finally picked up one of these. I didn't like the idea of using deck axles as there is no turning ability, this dolly can turn on a dime. Product arrived well packaged, directions were easy to understand. The only upgrade I'd suggest would be to to reduce the amount of deck play (left to right). Despite the additional deck play, this thing is the best on the market and I recommend it to all that remove their deck.

Definitely order the 6 ft. legs to give you more leverage and also the 4 wheel option. I did not and am trying to sell the dolly I have to order a new one with the above options. My 62" deck is way too heavy for the short legs and only one wheel on each side.

This is a new deck attachment for the JD X series HC mower decks in 2019 and the deck dolly turned out to be a perfect fit! No issues at all with the hydraulic mulch control mounting or hose placements interfering with the deck dolly at all. I also purchased the extended handles and extra set of wheels, as well as soft ground supports with the order. These are very inexpensive options for what they provide. The quality of the parts provided, fit and finish are top notch. Support was superb. Very highly recommended purchase as this mower deck is a beast to move around, position for cleaning or blade maintenance without the deck dolly! A must have for your garage if you are serious about properly taking care of some very expensive equipment.
