Deck Dolly for John Deere X3xx, X5xx Series Tractors

Purchased this for for use the 42A deck on my JD X370 Lawn Tractor. Dolly went together well with only a slight issue with some paint on the threads of the upper deck support rod making the bolts a little difficult to install but not a big deal. The dolly supports the deck very well and is very stable which makes changing the blades and cleaning the deck a lot easier.

This solved a back breaking task of cleaning my X584 48 inch deck That deck is big and heavy and this Deck Dolly does everything that I wanted Much safer when serviceing the deck I ordered the 4 wheels and the extra soft ground feet So glad I did I rolled it onto the lawn to clean and wash and it was so stable even on soft ground . A very well made and well thought out tool . I am completely satisfied with this product

I've got a 2016 x590 with a 54" deck that weighs a bit over 200lbs. I'm 55yrs old, but disabled with multiple replaced joints, and I've had 3 shoulder surgeries in the last four years. I'm a big guy, but I simply can no longer horse around a big object like my mower deck anymore, whether for cleaning, or blade changes, or blade sharpening. So I bought a "tractor lift". Ya, it does work, but it eats a lot of space in my garage, it takes about 20 minutes to get the tractor's nose up in the air and me down on the ground under it. Then it's time to kill my hands scraping the deck, getting grass all over me, and in my eyes and hair...pulling blades to sharpen or swap isn't so bad though. But all in all, was still looking for a better way. Heard about the 'Deck Dolly' on "MTF" (Tractor forum) - lots of good noise there, guys buying them left and right! Saved my nickels and dimes for almost a year and bought mine! Zero regrets from me! Great piece of kit~! Take your time putting it together, leave all the nuts/bolts loose til you have it fitted on your deck nicely, then tighten everything up. Double-check your work, do a slow lift, making sure all is well. Stand er up all the way, do a walk-around inspecting the fit to see if any adjustment is needed, then call it done :) In my case, the main use is mainly just a lift and 90 degree turn. Then work (clean, blade work as needed), then turn back, drop the deck down, take the dolly back off - and I'm done~! Way faster than the tractor lift, much less space needed, and cheaper too. Takes me like 3-5 minutes to pull my deck, or put it back. No more being on the ground to grease the deck either :-) Wish these were sold at the John Deere dealers! A Great Purchase, no regrets here.

Well needed for any garage. Bought this for 54 inch mower deck for new tractor 2016 John Deere 590X. Great space saver, not to mention how easy it is to do deck maintenance.

used on a 2016 john deere x370 42" accel deck. works perfect and very easy to assemble. primarily used for storage of the deck during winter, but can be used for cleaning of the deck and service as well.

My situation requires that I cross both hard and semi-soft surfaces. The dual wheels are perfect for the application. And the special foot style provides a rock solid fixture for working on the deck, blades, etc. The 6' handles give me just the right amount of leverage. Very pleased with my purchase!
